1. Age Restriction

You must be 18 years of age or older to use our website, request services or participate in our SMS program. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. SMS Program Description

The Modern America Electric SMS Program sends text messages to customers and prospects who have opted in. Message types include:

• Appointment reminders and confirmations
• Estimate and quote follow-ups
• Service and project status updates
• Billing and payment notifications
• Occasional promotional offers and program announcements

Message frequency varies based on your project and interactions with our team.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, text START and we will start sending messages again. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply HELP for assistance or contact us directly using the details in Section 6.

4. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and your device.

5. Services & Estimates

Estimates provided by phone, email or in writing are based on the information available at the time and may be revised after an on-site assessment. All work is performed under California C-10 license #1071987 and applicable permits. Project scope, pricing and schedules are confirmed in the written agreement for each project.

8. Cancellation Policy

Scheduled appointments and site visits can be rescheduled or canceled at no charge with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments, may incur a service call fee. For contracted projects, cancellation terms, deposits and any applicable fees are defined in the signed project agreement, which governs in the event of any difference from this section.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
